Quirky Bias Stripes add unexpected interest to any project. I’ve made a quilt top, an embroidered pillow*, and I’m in the process of re-covering my tattered insulated grocery store totes all using Loralie's Red/Black Quirky Bias Stripes. This fabric goes well beyond just Christmas projects. While this red/black stripe isn’t featured in Loralie’s coordinates for her “Tossed Follies”, I fell in love with this combo as an alternative. *This lovely “Love In The Air” in-the-hoop embroidery design is by Oma’s Place via http:// OmasPlace.com. Tip: In the quilt top, I wanted the red stripes to all go in the same direction, so I cut horizontal borders cross-grain, and vertical borders parallel to the selvage. Happy Sewing Everybody!
