Below is a screen by screen walkthrough of a successful download purchase and saving the files to one's desktop.

We are using the single design, "Pinhead," as an example.

Since the majority of our users use Internet Explorer for their browser, we are using screen shots from the latest version, 7.0. If you have questions concerning using another browser such as Firefox, Safari, Opera, Netscape or Chrome – or another operating system such as Mac OS X, please e-mail CustomerService@LoralieDesigns.com.

Let's get started!

1. Navigate your way through our machine embroidery collections until you find the design(s) you want to purchase. Add the download to your cart.

2. Once you've added the design(s) to your cart, you will be taken to the page below. If you are ready to checkout, click "Proceed to Checkout." If you'd like to do more shopping, click "Continue Shopping."

3. After clicking "Proceed to Checkout" you will be given the page below. You will be prompted to either sign up if you are a new customer or enter your e-mail and password if you are a returning customer. Note - though creating an account using an e-mail address and password is optional, we highly recommend that you do so so that you will have access to any transactions you've ever placed and you will be able to re-download your designs if you ever experience a computer crash or data loss.

Note - for returning customers, you will be prompted upon logging in to verify your billing address. Simply click "Use This Address" or specify a new one if something has changed.

Note - if you are a returning customer, you will be prompted to view the information you already have on file (you have the option to store your credit card information with us).

4. On the final page of the checkout process, you can review your order and then click "Submit Order" to send it to Loralie Designs. Note the charge of $0.00 for shipping as you are downloading your product.

5. Once you have submitted your order, you will be taken to the page below. This is where you do not want to miss the link "Your purchase is available now for immediate download. Click Here" located under "Thank you for your order." If you miss this step and close your internet window, you will more than likely have to contact CustomerService@LoralieDesigns.com for assistance.

6. Once you have clicked "Click Here" you will be taken to the page below. You will see that your design(s) is waiting for you to download.

7. Click "Download" on the far left and the window in the center of the screen will pop up asking you to save the file. We recommend saving the file as opposed to opening it.

8. We recommend saving the file to your Desktop so it's easy to locate. Of course, if you prefer, you can save the file(s) to wherever you keep them on your computer.

Note - you will get a "Download Complete" screen once the file(s) have finished downloading. Close it when finished.

Note - for this walkthrough, this is what our downloaded files to the desktop now looks like. You will see the FunLadies-Pinhead.zip folder in the upper left hand corner.

9. Double-click the downloaded ZIP file. Most computers have the "out of the box" ability to open ZIP files. If you discover your computer cannot, we suggest downloading and using WinZip. You can also e-mail CustomerService@LoralieDesigns.com.

10. Open the folder and you will find the various formats we offer our designs in along with a color chart in PDF format – in this case, "PinheadPrintout.pdf."

11. Save your files to whatever media you use to transfer designs to your embroidery machine, open and print the color chart(s) and have fun!
